1. Data We Collect

Account & Profile Data

Identifiers: name or display name, email or phone (if provided), device identifiers.
Profile details: sizing notes, style tags, saved looks, social handles you choose to add.

Content & Media

Portrait uploads, garment references, templates you save, and AI-generated previews.
Chat messages, feedback, and reactions shared with stylists, friends, or Pulse support.

Usage & Device Data

App interactions (buttons tapped, templates browsed, try-on modes used) for analytics and UX improvements.
Device model, OS version, language, and network info for performance, crash diagnosis, and security.

Optional Data

When you opt in, we may access camera roll images, camera, microphone, or push notifications to enable try-ons, video guidance, or alerts.

2. How We Use Data

Operate core features such as AI try-on rendering, mix-and-match styling, and chat.
Improve garment detection accuracy, personalization, and template recommendations.
Provide customer support, detect fraud, enforce policies, and ensure community safety.
Send transactional messages (render progress, template updates) and, with consent, optional marketing content.
Generate anonymized analytics to understand feature performance, latency, and reliability.

3. Legal Bases

Depending on your location, Pulse processes personal data on one or more of the following legal bases: performance of a contract (delivering the Service), legitimate interests (analytics, security), consent (accessing camera roll, marketing), and legal obligations (responding to lawful requests).

Vendors: We work with secure cloud providers, analytics platforms, and content delivery networks that process data on our behalf under strict agreements.
Stylists & collaborators: If you initiate chats or share looks, the recipients can see related messages and preview images.
Legal & safety: We may disclose data if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to prevent harm.
Business transfers: If Pulse undergoes a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, user data may transfer as part of the transaction with notice provided.
Aggregated data: We may share de-identified statistics (e.g., the number of try-ons per week) that cannot reasonably identify individuals.

5. International Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your home country. Where required, we implement safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, regional data centers, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete portraits, garments, or chats at any time from within the app. After account deletion, we remove or anonymize associated data within a reasonable period unless retention is required for legal, accounting, or safety reasons.
